Administrative Assistant

Pay - $14-17/hour

We are currently seeking Administrative Assistants for our clients in the Capital District (Albany, Schenectady, Latham, Troy, Clifton Park, etc.). Candidates should have 3-5 years of previous experience working in a professional office environment.  Examples may include insurance companies, medical facilities, service organizations, not-for-profits, legal offices, etc.

Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Handling internal and external customer inquiries via phone/email
  • Working towards weekly/monthly/annual goals
  • Answering phone calls
  • Attend weekly/monthly staff meetings
  • Researching product or services inquiries based on client needs
  • Utilizing customer specific software packages as well as MS Word/Excel to create business documents, or track client information
  • Diffuse difficult customer interactions by demonstrating strong listening and empathy skills
  • Performing routine office duties such as copying, faxing, sorting, filing, etc.


  • 3-5 years as an administrative assistant or related experience
  • High School diploma or GED required. College experience preferred
  • Able to navigate computers effectively (MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Good listening skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Friendly, team-focused personality
