Pay - $13-15/hour

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assemblers for multiple clients to assemble various items such as wiring harnesses, motor housings, transmission pieces, perform finishing work, form parts and more.  Candidates should possess strong assembly experience and/or mechanical aptitude for working with wiring, seals, hand tools, measuring items and be accustomed to bench work. Position Description:

Among the many duties you may perform in these jobs, you'll be putting together kits and sub assembly parts. You may handle the finishing of other products (checking for defects, sanding, prepping). You'll use small hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, wire crimping tools, and possibly some soldering tools depending on the particular role.  Ideally you have some experience with working with your hands, using tools, measuring tools, and like to stay busy.  You will be asked to follow schematics or specs to put components together for customer orders, then help prep them for shipment. That will include coordinating with the shipping/receiving department to both assist with orders when needed, but also prep with packaging your finished goods.  If you take pride in the quality of detail you produce, our client wants candidates like you!  

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years previous manufacturing or construction related experience
  • Soldering experience a plus.
  • Preference for electrical or mechanical assembly experience
  • Prior use of small hand tools in a job setting
  • Familiarity with measuring equipment
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly

Schedules will vary based on which client you're a solid match for. We are seeking 1st ($13/hr) 2nd and 3rd ($14-15/hr) shift assemblers.

 

Work Environments can vary. Typical assembler roles will have you working in a bench area, or around bench level products. You'll be using small hand tools to put items together, following specific instructions so that each part fits with end-product specifications. You'll need to have a high attention to detail so you're using the correct raw products (some will have to go get those products and stock your work area), review schematics/plans, then assemble and double check your work before handing off to the next stage.
