Location - Albany region
Pay Range - $48-70k + commisison

Our client is seeking a full time sales rep to cover an open territory. The territory ranges from Poughkeepsie out to Buffalo, so you’ll be covering a vast distance with in person appointments and visits with your account base and new prospects. The path to success in this role is built off of strong relationships, and you earn that by becoming your customers trusted advisor. The quicker you earn that status, the more effective and successful you’ll become.



·         Establish and build strong relationships with new and existing customers & prospects

·         Manage an existing portfolio of retail customers by delivering quality products and consulting on new and upcoming products to suit their needs.

·         Cold call, and act on company provided leads to determine where prospects lie in the buying cycle, and what their needs are.

·         Schedule appointments with existing customers on a regular basis throughout the calendar year to manage and grow existing business.

·         Learn new product lines and educate customers on where they fit within their product mix.

·         Prioritize your daily workflow to exceed daily/weekly/monthly quotas.




·         3-5 years of prior sales and/or account management experience

·         Skilled at quickly building trust and rapport

·         Prior professional sales training a plus (Sandler, Achieve Global, etc.)

·         Ability to meet with customers face to face throughout the territory

·         Demonstrate active listening skills consistently

·         Ability to travel to and from client locations, and attend period trade shows

·         Candidate must be well organized and possess time management skills

·         Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required

·         Two or four-year college degree a plus
