Human Resources Coordinator

Pay Range - $15/hr

 

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for one of our clients.  The primary functions of this role involve payroll processing and new employee onboarding/orientation steps.  You’ll be involved with making sure all appropriate boxes have been checked, and steps have been taken to onboard new part and full time employees for the organization. Additionally, you’ll process payroll (weekly/biweekly) for internal and field based employees (approximately 200 in all). 

 

Position Description:

  • Evaluate and troubleshoot incoming time sheets for accuracy
  • Enter hours worked, and update employee database to make sure proper elections are marked
  • Orient new employees including providing benefit information, company policies & procedures
  • Regularly update employee handbook
  • Work with benefit brokers/providers for various coverage needs (group health, workers compensation, 401k, etc.
  • Reconcile semi-monthly payroll process
  • Assist employees with employment questions, concerns, changes to their benefit status, etc.
  • Provide Human Resources guidance to employees and management

 

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience using Paychex payroll systems
  • Degree or experience in Human Resources field
  • Fluent in using MS Word, MS Excel in a business environment
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills
