Production Printer Technician

Pay Range - $15.00/hour

 

We are currently seeking a Production Printer Technicians for one of our clients. This is a fast paced role requiring high attention to detail in a clean manufacturing environment.  You’ll operate an automated screen printing machine to process goods. In addition to operating the equipment, you’ll learn how to mix and change inks as needed based on the products you’ll be printing.  This will also include cleaning the screens and blocks used in the process when line changes are made. You will be working 15 days of the month with their 2/2/3 work schedule (less than most jobs), plus earn overtime every other week.

Position Description:

  • Evaluate and troubleshoot screen printing equipment during production cycle
  • Clean screens, blocks and other elements as lines are changed from one product to another
  • Make adjustments to timing elements, head pressure, position of products and more to ensure a neat and tidy finished product.
  • Keep rejected products to a minimum by monitoring machine and settings
  • Work in an metric oriented environment where you’re asked to meet a daily quota of produced units
  • Mix various inks based on specific recipes
  • Assist co-workers and managers in other areas as needed

 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of manufacturing, machine operation or mechanical type experience. 
  • Able to work long hours when needed, including some holiday weekends (i.e. Memorial Day weekend)
  • Customer service skills/mindset to accomplish company goals
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • History of being early for work consistently
  • Coach-able, team player mentality.
  • High School Diploma or GED required

 

Schedule:

Our client operates on a 2/2/3 (on off on) schedule which flips every week (i.e. working every other weekend). You’ll be working either on days (6am to 6:30pm) or nights (6pm to 6:30am).  Please indicate your availability when applying.
