Production Filler

Location - Johnstown, NY
Pay rate - $19/hr + 1.50 Shift Differential

Shifts Available - As of 5/12 they have 3rd shift open.

We are seeking several people for Warehouse and/or Production Filler roles for one of our clients in Johnstown.   You’ll be working on your feet for 8+ hour shifts in a physically demanding role (lifting, bending, palletizing product). You’ll be dispensing product into containers, and preparing finished goods for shipment (stacking, palletizing, etc.). Our process will include in person interviews adhering to our client’s strict hiring guidelines. The duration of these roles is expected to last through the end of the year.

Duties:

• Match batch information with lid and packaging product numbers to ensure accuracy.
• Fill product containers to specific weights.
• Maintain product cleanliness so it appears neat and clean when it hits store shelves.
• Maintain work station – clean up any spills, leaving it prepared for full operation for the next shift.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures without deviation.
• Prepare samples of product to deliver to internal departments

Requirements:

• Prior Manufacturing/Production work experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (push, pull, lift)
• Experience using various manufacturing equipment (i.e. Pallet jack, palletizer, dispensing equipment)
• Math and reading skills to count, measure weights, and match data in computer terminal
• Help in other departments as needed.
