Computer operator

Location: Albany, NY (not remote)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time
Compensation: $22/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified Computer Operators to assist with a variety of procurement-related tasks in support of New York State Centralized Contracts and Procurement operations. Selected candidates will be placed on project teams based on current agency needs and will play a vital role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to inquiries from Authorized Users, vendors, and contractors regarding NYS Centralized Contracts and Procurement Guidelines.

• Conduct detailed Vendor Responsibility Reviews (VR Reviews) for procurements, including original contracts, extensions, amendments, and continuous recruitment awards.

• Research and verify changes in contractor information, pricing updates, and vendor credentials.

• Review bid proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement standards.

• Support administrative and documentation tasks related to procurement workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is mandatory.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and apply state procurement guidelines.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis.

• Experience working in procurement, contract review, or administrative support in a regulatory or government setting is a plus.
