Food Packing

Location - Johnstown, NY
Pay Range: $15.00/hour

Our client is seeking food packing workers for their manufacturing operation to assist in day-to-day functions. You will be responsible for contributing with a team of others on safe and clean food production practices. This organization is looking for temp to hire candidates who are seeking long term opportunities for steady income and long term benefits. 

Shifts currently open: 6am shift start

Position Description:

• Lift 35-50lbs of product frequently
• Observe company and food safety regulations
• Read, interpret and follow instructions provided by supervisors
• Area clean up to ensure safe and clean work area
• Each department plays a role in its own quality control. Team members are asked to pay particular attention to the quality of the work they contribute.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move 35-50 lbs of material
• Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day
• Willingness to work in a cold and damp or hot and humid work environment
• Schedule flexibility -while we try to maintain standard work schedules, sometimes end times are later than expected.
• Schedules will fluctuate based on client needs.
