Forklift Operator

Location – Johnstown, NY & Sharon Springs
Pay - $18/hr 

We are seeking  Forklift Operators for a client who has openings in Sharon Springs and Johnstown. The positions are temporary, full time positions, temp-to-hire . This is a great opportunity for experienced forklift operators. 

Shifts available:

Johnstown: 

1. Monday thru Thursday 3pm - 1:45am 

2. Wednesday 3pm-1:45am & Friday Saturday Sunday 4pm - 2:45 am

Sharon Springs:

1. Friday Saturday Sunday Monday 5:30am - 4pm (will train on weekdays)

Position Description:
·         Responsible for sorting products and moving them to their proper location within the warehouse via a forklift
·         Quality checking products
·         Utilizing a handheld tracking system to label products
·         Basic equipment inspections when necessary
·         Maintaining a safe working environment at all times 

Requirements:
·         High School Diploma or GED preferred
·         Forklift experience required
·         Experience working in a fast paced environment
·         Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
·         Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
