Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day/Night shifts (depending on production needs)
Wage: $25.00/hr (Negotiable based on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Production Equipment Technician to join our team in Saratoga Springs. This role is crucial to ensuring that our production equipment is running efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience with changeovers in a production environment, as well as a strong mechanical aptitude. Core Responsibilities:
- Perform changeovers on production equipment per the production schedule (including filler, seamer, cartoner, tray former, shrink bundler, etc.) based on can size (slim, sleek, standard).
- Perform preventative maintenance and on-demand repairs on production equipment (filler, seamer, cartoner, tray former, shrink bundler, label applicators, depalletizers, air compressors, chillers, conveyors, etc.) to ensure operational safety and maximize production uptime.
- Modify machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed) as necessary to meet new product specifications.
- Coordinate the cleaning of production lines and equipment to avoid contamination between product changes.
- Perform qualification inspections to ensure new products meet quality standards before full production begins.
- Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the changeover process.
- Schedule and perform changeovers to minimize downtime and meet client deadlines.
- Train Line Operators on regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Work on the production line as needed, ensuring safe operation of all equipment, in compliance with "Safety First" protocols.
- Ensure all products are manufactured and shipped safely by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in changing over production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of experience performing maintenance on production equipment.
- Experience in the food and beverage production industry (brewery, winery, distillery, or similar) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing machinery, including welding, electrical, and plumbing, is a plus.
- Tech-savvy: Able to use Google Suites and in-house apps for communication and record-keeping.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, timely, and safety-conscious in a fast-paced environment.
