Pay Rate: $19/hr - $22/hr (depending on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping Associate with forklift experience to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of shipments. You will be responsible for managing outbound orders, using forklifts and pallet jacks, and working with various shipping portals (FedEx, UPS, etc.) to schedule pickups. This position requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping & Receiving:
- Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Verify the correct quantities and perform quality checks on completed items before shipping.
- Track, trace, and update the status of outgoing shipments using various shipping portals.
- Consolidate customer orders into crates when applicable.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily moves and inventory, including scanning and counting items.
- Forklift & Equipment Operation:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and transport products.
- Learn to operate larger warehouse equipment, such as 5-ton cranes, for lifting and moving heavy or awkward products.
- Adhere to safety guidelines when operating equipment.
- Warehouse Organization & Safety:
- Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and complies with all safety regulations.
- Participate in the company’s safety and health programs.
- Follow company procedures and directives to ensure efficient operations.
- Interact with shipping truck vendors and drivers in a positive and professional manner.
- Provide accurate and timely shipment of products to customers.
- Customer Focused:
- Maintain a customer-focused approach in all aspects of the job.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipping logistics and prioritize orders effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn new business applications.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and problem-solve effectively.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work off-hours, weekends, and overtime on short notice as needed.
- Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and moving heavy or awkward products is a plus.
- High mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn for career advancement.
