Maintenance Technician

Pay $20-$25/hr

Job Description: This client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dolgeville, NY. This position involves assisting with the upkeep and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and report findings to senior technicians or supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Utilize basic hand and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Collaborate with team members and support senior technicians in complex repair projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using common hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced technicians.
• Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is a plus but not required.

Compensation: The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour.
