Work Hours: Full-time, 7.5 hours daily, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to work through AccuStaff at OPMC.
The Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC) is responsible for investigating and addressing complaints of professional misconduct involving physicians, physician assistants, and specialist assistants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience handling phone calls in a professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Capacity to work independently.
- Familiarity with the professional medical conduct process.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Review incoming correspondence and draft responses as appropriate.
- Review outgoing correspondence for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle telephone inquiries and greet office visitors professionally.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings and travel as needed.
- Maintain and organize office filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Serve as a liaison between PMC staff, other DOH employees, and the public.
- Operate office equipment and utilize Microsoft Office applications to produce reports, correspondence, and other documents.
- Scan and save documents in electronic formats.
- Perform data entry tasks in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
