Start your new career today

Whether you're looking for a short term fix, or a long term career option, working with a quality temporary staffing agency makes a difference. AccuStaff works extremely hard to understand your hiring path. In order to successfully place you in a temp or direct hire role, we need to understand you, the job seeker. This includes interviewing you for your experience, skills and strengths, but also to understand your areas for improvement or gaps. It's the best way we know to put you in a successful situation.

Welcome to AccuStaff

AccuStaff is an employment agency helping businesses in the Capital District markets with their hiring needs.

Whether your business is located in the Albany, Johnstown or Saratoga Springs, NY area, our long-term goal is helping you find the answer to your hiring needs. Every business has unique jobs they try to fill. We help identify, screen, and interview candidates for those temporary or temp to hire positions. In the process, we revise, revisit and customize our approach to your ever changing situations.  We also keep the focus on giving you the best customer service possible. As the leading temp agency in the Capital Region, we're excited to put our experience to work for you.

What type of jobs do we hire for?

Temporary

We define temporary work as having a start and end date. The dates may not be exact, but these are defined time frame.

Temp jobs are typically designed to cover a specific purpose for our clients. Examples could be to cover a leave of absence, a peak in business, vacation coverage, seasonal jobs, or a special project. Every client handles it differently. Temporary work can also be indefinite in length. This doesn’t mean these positions can’t result in something long term, but the intent is that the assignment has a shelf life. This might be good for you if you’re not sure what you want to do, or just need something for a period of time. With temporary work, you’re working on an assignment as an AccuStaff talent.

Temp-to-Hire

Temp-to-Hire is similar to temporary jobs, but with the intended option that our client is looking for someone long term to fill their specific need.  Temp-to-hire is never a guarantee, you have to earn the role. There are a lot of other factors related to their business needs, and your job search that come into play. All things being equal, some candidates think of a temp to hire role as a “foot in the door” or “probation” period where they can try a business out before making a long term commitment.  We liken it to a long term job opportunity. See what you can make of that chance to flourish!

Direct Hire

These are positions where our client wants to have you on their payroll at the point of hire. It means that you are not an AccuStaff employee; you would become our client’s employee on day one of that long term job (full time or part time).  Different businesses elect this option based on the needs and goals of their organizational. Many times these are what people might call “Mission Critical” type of roles. The process is similar in that there is still a formal vetting and interview process, but the end result is a little different. Direct Hire roles may also be called Permanent Placement or Perm roles.

3 Signs Your Business Needs a Staffing Agency in 2026
Hits: 46703

In today’s fast-moving job market, finding and retaining reliable employees is more challenging than ever. Many businesses in the Capital Region are feeling the pressure of increased turnover, longer hiring timelines, and rising labor costs. If your team is stretched thin or your productivity is starting to slip, it may be time to consider partnering with a staffing agency. Let AccuStaff support your team.

Here are 3 of the common signs Your Business Needs AccuStaff in 2026!!

 1. Your Workload Fluctuates Throughout the Year -

Many industries experience seasonal spikes or sudden increases in demand. Hiring full-time employees for short-term needs isn’t always practical—or cost-effective.

AccuStaff provides the flexibility to scale your workforce up or down as needed, without long-term commitment. This not only helps you stay productive during busy periods, but can also reduce costs associated with payroll taxes, insurance, and unemployment claims.

2. You Don’t Have Time & You Can’t Fill Open Positions Fast Enough

Recruiting takes time—reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, checking references, and onboarding all add up quickly. For many businesses, especially small to mid-sized companies, this pulls focus away from daily operations.

At the same time, unfilled positions slow down productivity and put added pressure on your team. AccuStaff handles the entire hiring process for you, delivering qualified candidates quickly so you can stay focused on running your business.

3. Your Employees Are Burned Out from Overtime

When your team is consistently working extra hours to make up for staffing shortages, burnout is inevitable. This often leads to decreased productivity, lower morale, and increased turnover—creating an ongoing cycle that’s hard to break.

Bringing in temporary or supplemental staff helps balance workloads, improve employee satisfaction, and keep operations running smoothly. With the right support in place, your team can stay productive without being overworked.

If any of these sound familiar, it may be time to rethink your hiring strategy. Partnering with AccuStaff gives your business the flexibility, speed, and support needed to stay competitive in today’s workforce.
