Technical WordPress Support

Pay range - $35000 - $40000/year

We’re helping one of our digital marketing companies find an entry level Customer Support rep to handle various inquiries - some more technical than others. These can include email setup, helping with editing images for the web, adding or updating CMS modules (security patches) and more.  This is a small organization and a tight knit group. Our client is looking for someone who has a service mindset first and foremost, but also some technical/web acumen to handle other projects. 

Responsibilities:

·         Update customer websites. (content, images, security) You’ll use primarily WordPress or Drupal. 

·         Update email access files - meaning some of their customers need a little assistance updating their mail client on a tablet or smartphone

·         Educating clients on how to update content to their website (teach them to fish)

·         Walking customers step-by-step through any number of technical issues to uncover root causes and provide friendly and helpful solutions

 

Requirements

·         Verbal and written communication skills to help educate clients with grace and poise.

·         Technical skills with HTML/CSS (to manually edit code when needed - you won’t be designing - someone else does that)

·         Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS platform (how to add, create, edit)

·         Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop to pull the components you need from a layered file and create graphics when necessary and save to various file types

·         Team player and self starter.
