Warehouse Work

Location - Albany, NY
Pay $18/hr

1st Shift- full time

We’re recruiting for general warehouse help for clients in Albany. This is for a temp to hire, first shift role, handling picking, packing, shipping and/or receiving duties for a distribution hub. You'll accurately and efficiently select, pack, and prepare product for shipment. We're seeking people with prior order selector, or packaging experience from other warehouse environments. These are full time positions with long term possibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lifting up to 50lbs of product on a regular basis
• Frequent bending, squatting to lift, move and palletize products
• Shrink-wrap products by hand for safe shipping
• Experience in working well with small and large groups of team members
• Select appropriate product from bin locations, verifying SKUs to ensure high quality selection
• Package goods in case lots, and prepare pallets of goods for shipment (building pallets)
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative in the work place
• Perform job duties with safety as a number one priority
• Examine order sheets to select various products by hand and prepare for order fulfillment

Requirements:

• Dependable work history
• Previous Fork Lift certification a plus
• Excellent attendance record
• Previous experience in a light industrial setting (warehouse, manufacturing, production environment)
• RF Scan gun experience a plus
