Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time
Compensation: $22/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified Computer Operators to assist with a variety of procurement-related tasks in support of New York State Centralized Contracts and Procurement operations. Selected candidates will be placed on project teams based on current agency needs and will play a vital role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to inquiries from Authorized Users, vendors, and contractors regarding NYS Centralized Contracts and Procurement Guidelines.

Conduct detailed Vendor Responsibility Reviews (VR Reviews) for procurements, including original contracts, extensions, amendments, and continuous recruitment awards.

Research and verify changes in contractor information, pricing updates, and vendor credentials.

Review bid proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement standards.

Support administrative and documentation tasks related to procurement workflows.
Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is mandatory.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and apply state procurement guidelines.

Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis.

Experience working in procurement, contract review, or administrative support in a regulatory or government setting is a plus.
